A Commitment to Nature
Preserving the rare botanicals that define our scents through ethical sourcing and sustainable craftsmanship.
Ethical Sourcing
At Maison Lumière, our responsibility begins in the soil. We work directly with small-scale growers and ethical cooperatives across the globe to source the rare ingredients that give our fragrances their distinctive character. By bypassing industrial wholesalers, we ensure that every petal and resin is harvested with respect for the land and fair compensation for the hands that pick them.
Fair Trade Partners
100% of our primary botanical suppliers are certified for fair labor practices and safe working conditions.
Biodiversity Support
We invest 2% of our profits into local reforestation and soil restoration projects in our key sourcing regions.
Eco-Conscious Packaging
A luxury experience should not come at the expense of the environment. We have meticulously redesigned our packaging to be as sustainable as it is sophisticated.
FSC-CERTIFIED SIGNATURE BOX
- FSC-Certified Card: All our signature boxes and outer shipping cartons are made from responsibly managed forests.
- Plastic-Free: We have removed all single-use plastics from our secondary packaging, replacing them with ivory tissue paper and organic cotton pouches.
- Refillable Vessels: Our 100ml bottles are designed to be kept forever. Starting in late 2026, we will offer a bespoke in-boutique refill service at our Mayfair flagship.
Shipping with Intent
Trans-Atlantic and global logistics present a significant challenge for carbon management. We partner exclusively with carriers who have committed to carbon-neutral shipping by 2030.
Carbon-Neutral Deliveries: Every UK delivery is made using electric vehicles or carbon-offset road transport. For international orders, we prioritize sea freight where possible to minimize aviation emissions.
We are currently assessing our 2025 carbon footprint to share a transparent audit with our community, including our roadmap to becoming a B-Corp certified fragrance house.
